LEARN is the first step of the LCPA learning model and stands for the Project Result 1 of the Songs for Change project: The Songs for Change Toolkit. This Toolkit aims to give readers a practical orientation and a general overview of EU values, and to provide opportunities for specially designed workshops that use music as a tool to bring young people closer to EU values and to advocate for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, rule of law, human rights.
The Toolkit has two functions:
- It gives key information about the EU values and the power of Music.
- It gives youth workers and educators a wide range of non-formal, music-based learning tools, activities and exercises which can give guidance in preparing and implementing workshops with young people.
Overall Objectives of the Toolkit:
- Analyzing and discussing the relevance of EU values using music exercises.
- Create, produce, frame and facilitate a Songs for Change workshop based on music in the context of EU.
- Plan, implement and engage youth and communities in projects.
- Facilitate Songs for Change activities for young people.
